Norlight's point of presence (POP) for Madison resides next door to 5Nines. Their Madison POP offers an OC-192, SONET ring (redundant) connectivity to local and regional networks and the internet via multiple access points (multiple tier-1 carriers), and load balancing. Charter is also another provider in our mult-homed environment.

Burstable Bandwidth Access
5Nines burstable internet access pricing is based on measured bandwidth usage. 5Nine's four levels of burstable pricing allow the customer to tailor the maximum available bandwidth to their particular needs. There is no need to pay for a full 45 Mbps of bandwidth availability if the maximum required bandwidth is only 21 Mbps, for example. Bandwidth for burstable internet access is priced in 1 Mbps increments. Monthly billing for burstable internet access is based on the sustained usage levels during the month
VPN Solutions

Connectivity Services
In order for 5Nines to provide internet access to the area businesses, a circuit (a.ka. local loop) is needed between recipient and 5Nines data center. There are a number of possible options for making this circuit, including copper, fiber and wireless transmission. Virtual Private Network (VPN) services are also offered by 5Nines to enable users secure access.
